Meet Sapphire the Calaveras County Animal Services Shelter Pet of the Week (Update...Congratulations Sapphire on a New Home!!)

Posted by: thepinetree on 07/20/2019 03:17 PM
San Andreas, CA...Meet Sapphire, a Border Collie/Husky mix estimated to be about two years of age. An affectionate dog with excellent leash manners, Sapphire is calm and eager to please. Every dog she meets whether male or female is a new friend to be made. She also adores being petted. Sapphire’s absolute favorite activity, though, is to play with water from a hose. We can easily envision her romping with her special person or family by a backyard pool and being part of summer barbeque fun. This sensitive girl would likely do best in a home with lots of attention where she can feel she truly belongs. Sapphire may also be housebroken as she keeps her kennel clean.
