LEAD AGENCY: Calaveras County Planning Department43, 891 Mountain Ranch Rd.43, San Andreas, CA 95249 2017-144 Zoning Amendment for Victoria Teller: This application proposes to amend the zoning of two parcels of land in Calaveras County, APN: 024-001-033 a 7.33-acre parcel and APN: 024-001-034 a 1.45-acre parcel currently zoned RR-1.3 (Rural Residential – 1.3-acre minimum parcel size). Lot Line Adjustment 17-20 proposes to re-locate the common boundary between these two parcels by merging a 1.27-acre portion (approximately) of APN: 024-001-033 zoned TP (Timber Production) with APN: 024-001-034 currently zoned RR-1.3 (Rural Residential – 1.3-acre minimum parcel size). The LLA creates a split zoning that is proposed to be resolved by way of an immediate rezone of the 1.27-acre portion of APN: 024-001-033 from the TPZ. The reminder of APN: 024-001-033 will remain in the TPZ. For consistency with the General Plan, the approximately 2.27-acre parcel resulting from the LLA is to be re-zoned from TP and RR-1.3 to RA (Residential Agriculture).

Following a call for artists in the Calaveras County Arts Council’s 16th annual ArtSpirit Show, 134 high school students from three schools entered a total of 198 works in 11 categories. Cash awards of $10 for First Prize; $5 for Second Prize; and Third Place ribbons were given in each category. Additionally, a $20 Popular Choice Award will be presented after the Saturday, April 20 closing of the exhibit. The public is invited to visit the show located in Gallery Calaveras at 22 Main Street in San Andreas. Here are the results:

We will have approx. 8 kitties available to meet you. For the month of April, we are having an "Opt to Adopt an Adult" Special. We have reduced the adoption donation on all of our Adult cats (one year & older) to only $20. There are so many advantages to adopting an adult.
