Angels Camp, CA...Refuge in Angels Camp will host a simulcast on ISIS and it's affect on Christians. The event at 6 pm. There will be no childcare and it is a free event. It is open to anyone in the community.All eyes have been riveted on the ISIS offensive in Syria and Iraq in recent months. But Radical Islamic jihadists are also intensifying their operations against other countries in the region. This is news to some but no surprise to those that follow closely the prophesies and stories of the Bible. Very few have traveled the lands, conducted the research, or written the texts that continue to point out the eschatological happenings all around us...

Angels Camp, CA...Grace Hills Covenant Church will host two Easter celebrations this Sunday in Angels Camp. The first gathering is a "Sunrise Service" at 630am, held at Cherokee Creek Ranch at 769 Dogtown Road. At 10am, a worship service will be held at Bret Harte HS in the Multipurpose Room. Both services are intended for all ages, and light refreshments will be available at each service as well. ACLU Lawsuit Charges Calaveras County with Unconstitutionally Promoting One Particular Religious Belief

San Andreas – The American Civil Liberties Union of Northern California today filed a lawsuit against the county of Calaveras, charging the board of supervisors with passing a resolution last summer that unconstitutionally promotes one particular set of religious beliefs over all others. Filed in state superior court on behalf of nine Calaveras County residents with various religious beliefs. The lawsuit charges that the resolution runs afoul of the fundamental constitutional principle that the government should not promote one particular religious belief over others because, among other things, it recognizes a local Christian ministry’s work in “strengthen(ing) the lives of women and young women in Calaveras County by inviting them to test and see for themselves the many blessings that can come from living the teachings of Christ.”...
