Angels Camp, CA...The Calaveras County Chamber of Commerce is excited to present the 2014 Calaveras Home & Garden Show the weekend of March 29th & 30th at Frogtown in Angels Camp. This event is sponsored by Century 21 Tri-Dam Realty, Barrel of Monkeez and Mark Twain Medical Center. "We are really excited about this year's event," said Chamber of Commerce Interim Executive Director Mindy Miller Boyette. "We have a lot of returning vendors and a good mix of new vendors coming. For unknown reasons, he failed to negotiate the curve in the roadway, traveling onto the r/shoulder, striking a paddle marker. To compliment the dinner, all five wineries will be represented by the owner or winemaker to discuss and answer questions about their wines. Angels Camp, CA....The Calaveras Youth Mentoring Program has designated Arnold resident Sharon Ash as its March Mentor of the Month. Sharon has been matched with sixteen-year-old Diana Westphal for the past seven years. “Sharon and Diana enjoy one of our program’s longest continuous friendships,” said Colleen Dolan, Coordinator of Mentoring Programs for the Calaveras County Office of Education. “This means that they both have contributed a lot to the policies, practices, and general strength of the Calaveras Youth Mentoring Program.”
