San Andreas, CA... A Request For Proposals (RFP) to provide community based support groups addressing mental health has been issued by Calaveras County Behavioral Health Services. Increased access to community based services and reduction of mental illness stigma are the primary goals of the community support groups. Proposals are sought from qualified individuals or organizations for groups in all parts of the county and serving all age groups....
Tuolumne County, CA... The prescribed fire is located south of Pinecrest and adjacent to Forest Service Roads 4N26 (Crabtree Road), 4N68Y (Sheering Creek Road), and 4N10. Locations are Township 4N Range 18E Sections 21, 22, 27, 28.
Ignition of the Experimental Forest VDTS Prescribed Burn will commence on Tuesday, May 7, 2013 and continue through late May.
