Arnold, Murphys & Sonora, CA...At SNAC, our mission is to provide our customers with expert service and the most exciting, innovative new products; priced so you can spend more time using your gear than paying for it. Back in the early 90’s, when Shawn was selling out of the back of his truck as “The Eddy Mart”, the most important items to have on hand were life jackets, river shorts, sandals and river knives. Oh yes, and a few things the rafting customers would want, t-shirts, hats, sunscreen, etc. It became obvious that The Eddy Mart was getting too big to operate out of a garage when the whitewater kayaks came. It was time for a storefront. That’s when providence arrived on the scene.

Sonora, CA...On June 26, 2019, at approximately 7:54am, Thomas Wright, a 69-year-old male from Knights Ferry, was driving a 2018 Kenworth 3 Axle truck that was pulling a trailer. He was traveling eastbound on State Route 108, west of Peaceful Oak Drive at approximately 40 miles per hour. At that same location, Ming Fung, a 70-year-old male from Twain Harte, was driving a 2004 Ford Taurus westbound on State Route 108 at approximately 55 miles per hour. The westbound traffic ahead of Mr. Fung was slowing due to scheduled maintenance work in the area. Mr. Fung applied his brakes to slow down, but he began to lose control. As a result, he traveled into the eastbound lane and the front of his vehicle struck the left rear axle for Mr. Wrights trailer.
