Sonora, CA...Senator Andreas Borgeas (R-Fresno) will host Mobile District Office Hours throughout the month of December. Mobile District Offices provide expanded constituent services to those who reside in the 8th Senate District. Constituents will be able to meet directly with district staff for assistance regarding the state government or its agencies. Caltrans To Close Mountain Passes in Advance of Winter Storm

Arnold, CA...Caltrans is scheduled to close Ebbetts Pass/Route 4, Monitor Pass/Route 89 and Sonora Pass/Route 108 in advance of the Thanksgiving holiday weekend due to a strong winter storm forecast for the Sierra Nevada. Planned closures are as follows (subject to change depending on conditions): • Ebbetts Pass/Route 4 (Alpine County) at 12 p.m. (noon) on Tuesday, November 26, 2019. • Sonora Pass/Route 108 (Tuolumne, Mono and Alpine counties) at 12:00 p.m. (noon) on Tuesday, November 26, 2019. • Monitor Pass/Route 89 (Alpine and Mono counties) at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 26, 2019.
