Bear Valley, CA....Spend Easter Weekend at Bear Valley this year! Conditions are fantastic as they get ready to head into Spring Break. Enjoy their Saturday Sunset Service at Koala Top on March 22nd (non-skiers are invited to attend) They can ride chair to the top, after service take a short beautiful walk to bus then head back to the Lodge for some wine and cheese. Wake up Easter morning to a special Brunch, bag-decorating (to collect all those eggs in!) and an Easter Egg Hunt. Easter Weekend Schedule and Full Flyer is enclosed.....

A unique Food and Wine Tour of Bear Valley Village and Lake Alpine. Start off the night in the Cathedral Lounge in front of the grand fireplace at the Bear Valley Lodge with wine and appetizers from 5:00-6:30pm. Happy St. Patrick’s Day Readers....The Irish have been observing this holiday for a thousand years. So, how did we come to celebrate this holiday you may have wondered? It seemed that when the Great Potato Famine hit Ireland these hard working proud people immigrated to America. The newspapers portrayed them as been inebriated most of the time and also made them out to be the lesser race.....

Irish Vineyards held their fourth annual St. Patrick ’s Day dinner in their creatively decorated tasting room at 2849 Highway 4. Dinner was prepared and served by Tallahan’s Café in Arnold. Authentic Irish appetizers and entrées were served to many wine club members……

San Andreas, CA...The Annual Calaveras Deputy Sheriff Association (DSA) will hold their annual Dinner Dance on Saturday March 22nd ad San Andreas Town Hall. The event will start at 6pm with a no-host bar, then dinner to follow at 7pm. The proceeds for this event go to local youth organizations, and contributions to local scholarships every year.
