ACEP-AAEM Issue Joint Statement on Physician Misinformation as Consensus in Medical Community Breaks Down

Posted by: thepinetree on 04/28/2020 09:51 AM
Irving, TX & Milwaukee, WI...The American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP) and the American Academy of Emergency Medicine (AAEM) jointly and emphatically condemn the recent opinions released by Dr. Daniel Erickson and Dr. Artin Massihi. As owners of local urgent care clinics, it appears these two individuals are releasing biased, non-peer reviewed data to advance their personal financial interests without regard for the public’s health.

What drove the Organizations to issue the statements Were the comments of the Kern County, CA Doctors in the video above stating that continuation of the stay at home orders may be counter productive. They have been conducting testing at the Urgent Care Centers they run in Kern County.
