Arnold, CA...It is hard to believe that we have only 4 days till the show. Besides a great venue with beautiful cars we also have the following vendors Looney BBQ, Wassup Dogs, Kona Ice, McDougals Kettle corn. The drink booth is sponsored by Bertini and Fox. The Lyons Club will have breakfast burritos and coffee for this early arrivals. A few photos from the great 2021 show to get you in the mood.

San Andreas, CA...Meet two incredibly adorable kittens: Abby, a brown tabby female, and Angelo, an orange tabby male. Not sure how anyone can resist these faces! A sweet momma cat and her five newborn kittens arrived at the shelter in April. The family was transferred to a foster home where the kittens received the best of care from their momma cat and human foster mom.

Mokelumne Hill, CA...One of the best 4th of July experiences in our area is 4th of July in Mokelumne Hill! Small town Americana is alive and well and thriving in this historic mining town. The center piece is the annual 4th of July Parade but the whole day is memories waiting to be made including an old fashioned community pancake breakfast to start the day. We checked off our list of parade prerequisites...Beauty Queens, Veterans in Historic Jeeps, Classic Cars, Saddle Queens, Fire Trucks, Horse Entries, Community Floats, Grand Marshalls & More were all there! Too top it off the final float was the rock band the Cool Shifters which stopped on main street for entertainment and dancing. There was even a celebrity siting as Lightning McQueen was there for the whole day! Mokelumne Hill & the Mokelumne Hill Lions club know how to run a parade. This historic winter's snowpack is rapidly receding, and summer activities in Bear Valley are finally emerging. Camping: The Stanislaus River Campground is open, and the Forest Service plans to open more campsites for the July 4th weekend.
