Wolf Jett Kicks Off the Brice Station Summer Concert Series |

Murphys, CA...Wolf Jett is in concert this Saturday night May 25th at Brice Station Vineyards just above Murphys. Get your groove on with this awesome band from Santa Cruz. Bring a sweater, blanket, or whatever you need to stay warm in the evening after dark. Brice Station will have a campfire ring and propane heaters for those needing extra warmth.
In addition to wine and other beverages, a taco bar and other great food will be available.
Doors open at 5:30 PM, concert at 7:00 PM.
Tickets are still available.

Arnold, CA...Watch the sunset from the top of Cougar Rock on this intermediate hike led by members of the Arnold Rim Trail Association. Distance is about 4 miles total, with 730 feet of elevation gain. If you haven’t done one of these hikes, you owe it to yourself to join the fun. They are scheduled on weekends near or on the day of the full moon each month, and they are special!

Angels Camp, CA...The 2024 Frog Jump Champion is 86 Years Young Lillian Fasano Jockeying "The Frog Father" Jumps 20 Feet, 5 & 1/2 Inches. The white line in the photos below is the Rosie the Ribiter's 21 feet, 5 3/4 inches record from 1986. If "The Frog Father's" shadow in the jump is correct he was even closer to breaking the record than the judge's mark. Full Finals Video and Hundreds of photos up later this eve.
