Woman Gets Six Years In Prison For Injury DUI Accident

San Andreas, CA...Jessica Lynn Stricler, 32, was sentenced to six years state prison last Monday for driving under the influence and causing bodily injury. On May 12, 2015, Stricler crashed her car into another vehicle on West Murray Creek Road. She injured two people: her passenger and the other driver. Stricler was also injured in the crash. Her blood alcohol test was 0.13% by weight.

Juvenile Suspect In July 21st Bank Robbery Turns Himself In

Twain Harte, CA...On 8/24/15 the sixteen year old suspect wanted by law enforcement for his involvement in the robbery of the Umpqua Bank in Twain Harte CA., turned himself into the Tuolumne County Probation Department. The juvenile was interviewed by Detectives from the Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office. At the completion of the interview, the suspect was transported to an out of county Juvenile Hall. The suspect will be held in custody pending his initial court date.

Jeane Presson Found Deceased...Investigation Now Proceeding As A Homicide

Columbia, CA...On 7/25/15 Jeane Presson was reported missing from her residence at the Columbia Mobile Home Park. Her husband advised the Sheriff’s Office that his wife (Jeane Presson), had walked away from the residence on 7/19/15 and had not returned. The Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office started a missing person investigation and began looking for Presson on 7/25/15.

Names Have Been Released In Hwy 108/120 Multiple Fatality Accident

Jamestown, CA...This collision occurred on August 15. Notifications have been made and the sad details of the names involved this horrific accident can be released. There was also a 120 acre vegetation fire as well. Sheila Weeks, 59 from Modesto, CA was driving her 1997 Honda CRV westbound on SR 120 in the number one eastbound lane near Tulloch Dam Road. Rachel Shahinian, 50 from Alameda, CA was driving her 2007 Toyota Rav 4 was traveling eastbound on SR 120 in the number one lane approaching Tulloch Dam Road. The front of the CRV collided with the front of the RAV 4. The RAV 4 to the right and became engulfed in fire. The CRV swerved to the right and came to rest in the center median of the roadway. The drivers of both vehicles sustained fatal injuries and Annika Zinsley, 10 from Alameda who was a passenger in the RAV 4 sustained fatal injuries as a result of this collision. A brush fire started and was extinguished by the fire personnel...

San Andreas, CA...CHP San Andreas has released information on two recent incidents. On August 18 at approximately 3:23 p.m. a 2013 Honda Accord went off the side of the roadway on Hwy 4 and Rock Creek Road. The vehicle was traveling westbound at stated speed of 55 miles an hour. The driver made an unsafe turning movement and drove off the side of the road, over an embankment and into a tree...

California State Prison-Sacramento Investigating Inmate Homicide During Riot

Folsom, CA...California State Prison-Sacramento (SAC) administrators are investigating the cause of a riot that occurred this afternoon involving numerous inmates and in which one inmate was killed. The identity of the victim is being withheld until next of kin has been notified. At approximately 12:55 p.m. inmates started fighting on one of the institution’s maximum-security general population yards. Inmate-made weapons were used in the riot.

Burglary Suspect Held At Gunpoint Until Deputies Arrive For Arrest

Sonora, CA...On 8/10/15 about 11:00 A.M. a homeowner returned to his home in the 15000 block of Jamestown Road. The resident noticed a black duffel bag with items from the home inside outside his residence. He then proceeded to the residence and found lights and a ceiling fan on. The lights and ceiling fan had not been left on when the homeowner had left the residence. A contractor arrived on scene to do some pre-scheduled work and went inside the residence with the homeowner. They discovered several paintings, a chain saw and other items missing from the residence.
