Vernon Leroy (Lee) Gott Jr. Passed Away On August 9th

Posted by: thepinetree on 09/09/2016 08:43 AM
Rail Road Flat, CA...Vernon Leroy (Lee) Gott Jr. passed away Tuesday August 9, 2016 at his home in Rail Road Flat, CA. Lee was born in Washington but lived all over the country. He was known as a good handy-man that could help with anything that needed fixing. If he didn’t know how to do something he would figure it out and make sure it was done right. He was best known for his work in the construction industry, where he worked for 20+ years. Many of which as a job-site superintendent, supervising the entire job, making sure the work was done properly and in a timely fashion. Lee worked on many different job-sites, anything from track-homes to an eight-story skyscraper in the middle of downtown Oakland. He had many passions in his life. Photography, woodworking, cooking, working on cars, watching NHRA, and gardening to name a few. But more than anything he loved to spend time with his family.

VOTE NO on “Measure D” It’s claim to “Control Commercial Cannabis Cultivation in Calaveras” is deceptive!

Posted by: thepinetree on 09/01/2016 10:11 AM
Angels Camp, CA...Why Vote No on D when it offers “Control for Commercial Cannabis”? Simple -- Measure D is a hastily and poorly written legislation. It lacks the necessary authority for law enforcement and code compliance to do their jobs! It is in conflict with current zoning law. It has a seriously flawed land-lease component. Measure D expands commercial cultivation of Marijuana/Cannabis crops to full recreational use. It fails to even mention “Medical Marijuana” anywhere in its language. Measure D puts the Handcuff’s on Law Enforcement and must be defeated!

West Point Woman Who Started Willow Fire Arrested On Multiple Charges

Posted by: thepinetree on 08/29/2016 09:15 AM
San Andreas, CA...Hogan was driving her vehicle eastbound on Mountain Ranch Rd. For an unknown reason the right rear tire became flat and the rim was in contact with the roadway while she was driving. The rim was causing a shower of sparks that was igniting the grass shoulder of the roadway. A witness behind Hogan attempted to gain her attention however she would not stop her vehicle. The witness eventually drove around Hogan and used his vehicle to stop Hogan by blocking the roadway. He contacted Hogan who did not appear to know that her vehicle was disabled. Due to the fires, Hogan's vehicle was also catching fire. The witness pulled Hogan from the burning vehicle. After an investigation by CHP, Hogan was arrested for driving while under the influence of a controlled substance and driving with a suspended driver license. A Drug Recognition Expert determined that Hogan was under the influence of a Narcotic Analgesic and Cannabis at the time of the incident.
