San Andreas, CA....On 7/27/16 the CCSO took a report of a suspicious circumstances call in West Point California. A resident reported that four unknown subjects arrived at the resident’s home asking to call 911 for help from law enforcement. The following events took place. CCSO Patrol Deputies arrived on scene and contacted four Hispanic males. Three of the males had significant visible injuries. The injured victims reported that they had been held hostage since February of 2016 and they were beaten while being forced to work in a large marijuana cultivation site near the town of West Point in Calaveras County. The injured victims were transported to an area hospital however; one victim had to be transported to a trauma center due to severe injuries.

According to folklore, the Dotaku bells were used for about 400 years, from 200 BC to 200 CE to warn of invasion. They were richly decorated with patterns representing nature and animals.

Man Dies In Shooting On Oak Haven Lane, Sheriff's Office Investigating |

Wilseyville, CA...On 09/16/16, at about 0515 hours, Deputies responded to 2900 block of Oak Haven Lane, in Wilseyville, for a report of a shooting. Deputies learned that a resident shot a male subject who allegedly refused to leave and confronted the residents outside of the home. The subject succumbed to his injuries at the scene. The investigation into the shooting is ongoing.

24 Year Old San Jose Man Loses Life In Motorcycle Collision |

Rail Road Flat, CA...At 24 year old San Jose man lost his life this afternoon in a collision on Jesus Maria Road. He was riding his 2001 Suzuki southbound on Jesus Maria Rd at an unknown speed. A Valley Springs woman was driving a Chevy Malibu southbound on Jesus Maria Rd and was stopped partially blocking the southbound traffic lane and partially on the west shoulder. As the rider approached he applied his brakes but, due to his unsafe speed, he was unable to stop in time. The motorcycle rear ended the Chevy. He was partially ejected from his motorcycle. He was wearing a full face DOT approved helmet at the time of this collision.

Paloma, CA...Michael Kriletich was born in San Leandro, CA on February 10, 1953. He attended the seminary on Mt Diablo from age 14 to age 18. At 19 he met Diane Jenkins and 2 years later they were married. Together they formed a loving couple and tight team for over 41 years of marriage. Michael and Diane began their family along Wallace Creek, a remote canyon in the Santa Cruz Mountains. After their two sons, Sean and Wade were born, the family moved to Jackson and then, in 1985, to Paloma.
