Bear Valley, CA....After several weeks of spring-like weather, winter has returned. A foot of new snow dropped last Sunday and it has remained cool. The packed powder conditions are simply delightful. We thought you might be interested in hearing about some upcoming events and gear specials. Bear Valley, CA....Bear Valley Mountain, the Central Sierra’s premier family skiing and snowboarding resort, has partnered with the California Senior Games Association (CSGA) to host the 2011 Senior Winter Games. The games provide male and female sports enthusiasts 50 years old and up with an opportunity to compete in an Olympic-style event that offers competition in downhill and cross-country skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing and more. A cold shot of air behind it will give us some low temps in the mid teens the next few days. Sunshine will be back on Monday through the week with a significant change at the end of next week.
