Bear Valley, CA...Hey Good People! 3" of new snow over night and more is on the way! A 20 percent chance of snow showers after 11am. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 36. South southwest wind 5 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 23 mph. 2015/16 Season Pass sales started March 13th, 2015 so go to the Bear Valley web page and check out the awesome details on deals! Bear Valley, CA...Rain and snow showers in the evening...then a chance of rain and snow showers after midnight. Colder. Lows 13 to 27 higher elevations...24 to 34 lower elevations. Additional snow accumulations up 1 to 3 inches. Snow level 4500 feet decreasing to 3500 feet after midnight. Prevailing southwest winds up to 15 mph with gusts to around 35 mph...except southwest 15 to 30 mph with gusts to around 45 mph over ridges. Monday Mostly cloudy. A slight chance of snow showers in the afternoon. Highs 29 to 44 higher elevations...40 to 54 lower elevations. Prevailing south winds up to 15 mph. Gusts up to 30 mph in the afternoon...
Bear Valley Easter Egg Hunt Tomorrw Snow Or Shine!

Bear Valley, CA....Join Bear Valley for some Pure Mountain Fun during our annual Easter Egg Hunt! Kids of all ages will enjoy searching the slopes for hidden easter eggs. We will begin by decorating baskets starting at 9:30AM until 10:30 AM and will be located in the Cub Club. Next, we will begin the egg hunting at 11:00 AM after a brief meeting in the sunroom. Finally, a special Easter hot chocolate will be provided to the hunters immediately following the hunt. Hope to see you there! 9:30AM- Basket decorating in the Cub Club 11:00 AM- Hunt begins in Sunroom 12:00PM- Hot chocolate social begins. Update...If it is snowing too heavily the Easter Egg Hunt will be moved to inside the Lodge...

Bear Valley, CA...The 10th Annual Slush Cup, benefitting the Bear Valley Snowsports Education Foundation (BVSEF) will be held on Sunday, April 12th at Bear Valley Mountain, the official closing day for the area for the 2014/15 ski season. Almost always true to the name, the Slush Cup will be a slushy snow condition head-to-head racing event historically held under warm and sunny skies on Sunday of the ski area’s closing weekend. Each year the Slush Cup provides a competitive throw down for local alpine skiers, snowboarders and Telemark enthusiasts. There are various age groups for both Male and Female categories in each discipline based on being an alpine or non-alpine competitor and the fastest run of the Finals declares the winner in each division...
