Hey Good People!!! Big Powder Day Tomorrow At Bear Valley Mountain!!!

Posted by: thepinetree on 03/04/2017 01:43 PM
Bear Valley, CA...Hey Good People! High clouds are starting to make their way into the area as 5am roll in.......1-3" is expected to fall today but the timing of that snow fall looks to be after 12pm today. Breezy conditions will arrive with winds out of the SSW from 14-22mph with gusts to the low 30's. Tonight an initial warm front will keep temps near freezing but 10-14" of snow is on tap and sometime around midnight we'll see the colder portion of the system arrive. Winds tonight will be in the mid to upper 20's with gusts into the low 40's as the gradient tightens a bit. Sunday looks like another 8-12" of colder snow and 1-3" Sunday night as it begins to make it's exit East and winds will also start to diminish so a few more inches is expected to fall into Monday. A return of high pressure on Tuesday will give way to sunny skies and great riding. Snow Valley was groomed during the day Friday so I suggest you check that out today before the snow fall arrives. Come up to Bear Valley and experience our local "Pure Mtn Fun" ethos and stay tuned..........

Hey Good People!!! The "Pure Mountain Fun" Just Keeps Falling!!

Posted by: thepinetree on 02/24/2017 12:40 PM
Bear Valley, CA....Hey Good People! 58" in the last week and well riding is exceptional with the continued cold temps on the backside of the recent storm system. Continued upper level low pressure will be in effect through the weekend and into Tuesday so expect snow showers to continue until that time. Today the high comes in around 25F with mostly sunny skies and East winds from 5-10mph. The second pulse of this low pressure system will arrive Sunday and drop snow levels down to a possible 1-2000' and 2-4" is expected for that system with snow ratios of 15:1 which equals super light density snowfall and we all know what that means.......Someone's been talking to Ullr............ Come up to Bear Valley and experience our local "Pure Mtn Fun" ethos and stay tuned..........
