Bear Valley, CA...As low pressure moves through it will bring us mostly cloudy skies with a slight chance of snow today, then we’ll see another day of sun on Sunday, so grab your gear and some friends and get up here to ride the copious amounts of great snow! Mikey’s fest is tonight so make sure to check out the memorial with Fireworks, Torchlight parade, Slide show and a host of Great Friends……….Oh! and Local Live Band also..Electric Zowie

Bear Valley, CA....Plans have come together as we get ready to honor and celebrate Mike Young. Each year Mike was instrumental in our torchlight parades. So we are looking for the best of the best to come join our current snowsports team and be part of an awesome river of fire in a torchlight parade dedicated to Mike. If you are a former coach or instructor, we hope you will join in the celebration by bringing your expert skiing or riding skills. Bear Valley, CA...The recent storm total is at 81″ and well………….powder skiing/riding has been going off! Today we may see up to 9″ of new snow with another 10″-16″ tonight!!!!! Bear Valley, CA...One of the traditions over the MLK weekend in Bear Valley is their Winter Explosion. It features a Torchlight Parade with over 100 skiers lighting up the night sky as they head down Porridge Bowl. The afternoon and evening were filled with activities and events. Live Music, Games, Movies, Dinner, Playing in the snow and more...
