Bear Valley, CA...Hey Good People………It’s Monday/MLK Day and skiing and riding is what you need to be doing! The high today will be around 57F with light winds out of the ESE to 7mph. Bear Valley, CA...Hey Good People………..It’s MLK weekend and the weather is awesome! Grooming is exceptional as the crew works hard to get it right for all you riders. Todays high should check in right around 56F and winds will continue to be light and out of the East to 7mph. Coverage is superb will 100% of our terrain open everyday! Bear Valley, CA...Come out on January 19th for our WINTER EXPLOSION! We will be featuring kids movies, dinner, a torch light parade, ski patrol info booth and FIREWORKS!!! Dinner prices are adults $15 and children $10 (ages 3-12). Don’t miss out on this great three day weekend event!

Bret Harte Squeaks out a 60-55 Win in Triple Overtime over Calaveras on Friday Night

Angels Camp, CA...In a game that will only add to the stories and history in the battles between Bret Harte and Calaveras the Bullfrogs came out on top of a triple overtime game. Yes...triple overtime. Three times these teams were knotted up as time ran out. Both teams left everything they had on the floor. We have photos below including the one below that Kim Evans sent in. Bear Valley, CA...Ski Racing is alive and well in the Central Sierra, Young Ski Racers from China Peak, Badger Pass, Dodge Ridge and Bear Valley made run after run through the gates on the Bear Valley Course. Bear Valley and BVSEF the Bear Valley Snowsports Education Foundation hold this race the first part of January every year. For two days the clack of shin guards banging the gates and the scrape of skis on snow are sounds that accompany the racers down the hill. In the crisp and cold conditions the skiers had perfect snow for consistent and speedy runs. Enjoy the photos below taken by Mark Silverstone and his staff at West World Images.
Angels Camp, CA...The winter months bring cold weather, shorter days, and treacherous driving and walking conditions, which can lead to increased risk of falling on slippery or uneven surfaces. However, one does not have to accept that a fall this winter IS as an unavoidable inconvenience. Bear Valley, CA...Hey Good People……….. A slight chance of snow today yet mostly sunny is what we’ll see. Cooler temps have moved into the area and with a high of 17F today and a night time low of 4F you better dress warm!. Winds will be out of the NW from 12-17mph with occasional gusts to 23mph.
