The forecast is for such nice weather that we are determined to work a little magic to get some skiable conditions. There are a number of other activities going on this weekend, so come on up! See below for that schedule. Both the Mountain with their chairlifts and our Sledding and Tubing facility will need more snow to get open. Have a fantastic Turkey Day (we're open until 2:30)...

Mark Twain St. Joseph’s Hospital Joins the Mercy Telehealth Network for Stroke Care

Posted by: thepinetree on 11/01/2012 01:50 PM
Sacramento, CA...The Mercy Telehealth Network, which connects Mercy stroke specialists to stroke patients in emergency rooms at rural and community hospitals, has expanded its network reach with the addition of Mark Twain St. Joseph’s Hospital in San Andreas. The Mercy Telehealth Network’s telestroke service uses InTouch Health wireless remote robots to connect stroke patients to neurologists from the Mercy Neurological Institute in Sacramento. This technology is the only FDA approved telehealth technology available. Stroke specialists at the hub “control centers” remotely control the wireless, mobile robots located at 12 Northern and Central California hospitals in the network, which enable them to examine and talk directly to patients, consult with on-site physicians, assist and help direct therapy and interact directly with the family. The Mercy Telehealth Network hubs are located at Mercy General Hospital in Sacramento and Mercy San Juan Medical Center in Carmichael.
