The 2014 Arnold Parade...The Floats, Entrants & The Crowds! We Have 454 Photos & Full Video |
Posted by: thepinetree on 07/11/2014 01:21 AM

Angels Camp, CA...Last Saturday morning Hwy 4 closed down to make way for a huge crowd in Arnold. We think it was the largest crowd since at least 2006 but we had several business people tell us they thought it was the largest parade crowd ever. So is Arnold back as a premier destination? Well thousands and thousands voted with their attendance in the affirmative. In our informal business survey we asked several businesses and everyone we spoke with is already up or expects to end the year up by double digits. Below we have 454 Photos and Full Parade Video. We would like to thank Cedar Creek Realty in Arnold for sponsoring our Arnold Parade Coverage Since 2006!!!!

Posted by: thepinetree on 07/10/2014 09:00 AM

Central Sierra Connect is a program of the Amador-Tuolumne Community Action Agency. Our vision is to bridge the digital divide by bringing broadband to the people and the people to broadband. Right now, that vision is threatened by inaccurate information being used by decision makers in Sacramento and Washington D.C. Our region needs high speed, broadband Internet service in order to grow and prosper in today’s economy. We need to get accurate information into the hands of those who fund the projects that can make that happen. To do that, we need to know about the Internet service you receive at your home and business addresses. And we've made it super easy to do – it only takes 5 minutes! Just click below or on this link to access the Internet Service Reporting Form: http://bit.ly/cscmapping

Is Arnold's Mojo Back? ....Is Sure Looks That Way |
Posted by: thepinetree on 07/04/2014 10:31 PM

Arnold, CA....Many signs point to an economic recovery picking up steam in the Arnold area. Many escrows have closed and a new wave of second home and hopefully some primary home owners have happened in the area. The era of multiple above price, and even some competing above price cash offers recently. These are great but for a real recovery to take hold local businesses have to feel the effects as well. A positive indicator on this front is a recent SNAC Paddlefest. This year they sold more boats the day of the event than anytime in the 17 year history of the event....

Sacramento, CA....Independence Day is a holiday celebrating the adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776, by America’s forefathers. Many Californians will celebrate this occasion with outdoor barbeques, picnics, and social gatherings. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) encourages you to enjoy the holiday but always designate a sober driver and buckle up. The CHP will be out in full force during the holiday weekend in an effort to reduce roadway deaths and prevent injuries. The Independence Day Maximum Enforcement Period (MEP) begins on Thursday, July 3, at 6 p.m. and continues through Sunday, July 6, at 11:59 p.m. All available officers throughout the state will be deployed during the MEP to focus enforcement on occupant restraints, speed violations, and those driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs....
