Bear Valley, CA...The 10th Annual Slush Cup, benefitting the Bear Valley Snowsports Education Foundation (BVSEF) will be held on Sunday, April 12th at Bear Valley Mountain, the official closing day for the area for the 2014/15 ski season. Almost always true to the name, the Slush Cup will be a slushy snow condition head-to-head racing event historically held under warm and sunny skies on Sunday of the ski area’s closing weekend. Each year the Slush Cup provides a competitive throw down for local alpine skiers, snowboarders and Telemark enthusiasts. There are various age groups for both Male and Female categories in each discipline based on being an alpine or non-alpine competitor and the fastest run of the Finals declares the winner in each division...

Bear Valley, CA....You may have heard some news recently about resorts closing. We're here to tell you that we're open until April 12th. This video was shot last night with our incredible snow management team. They've been working hard all year to keep conditions great for riding. Bear Valley, CA...Hey Good People! Mostly sunny today with a high near 52. Southwest wind 8 to 14 mph, with gusts as high as 22 mph. Additional cooling Sunday into Tuesday as the next weather system impacts Bear Valley. This storm will be stronger and wetter while it impacts Central and Northern CA. South to Southwest winds will begin to enhance Sunday afternoon with peak gusts over the Sierra ranging 40-60 mph overnight into Monday afternoon. The bulk of precipitation is expected Sunday night into Monday morning as snow levels hover around 5000 to 5500 ft. Snow accumulations will be around 2-4". 2015/16 Season Pass sales started March 13th, 2015 so go to the Bear Valley web page and check out the awesome details on deals! Bring the family and friends up for some "Pure Mtn Fun" as it's a great time to take advantage of some of the deals we have going on.
