Hey Good People!!!! More Snow On The Way!!! ~Bear Valley Weather & Update With Mattly Trent

Bear Valley, CA...Hey Good People!!!! Another great weekend of fun and riding was had! Today looks to be a repeat of Sunday with a few clouds and beautiful blue skies. Temps could get up to around the mid 50's today and stay that way through Wednesday. Winds will be out of the ESE today then shifting to the SSW over the next few days as the oncoming storm approaches. Currently the system that is slated to arrive Thursday could possibly bring up to 12"+ by the time it makes it's exit. That system has some warmer temps associated with it but it looks to be all snow and that's a stellar base builder for all Central/NorCal resorts! Stay tuned for more info as the week progresses.

Bear Valley Receives 5 Inches Of New Snow For Another Great Weekend! Mattly's Weather For Dec 5th 2015
Posted by: thepinetree on 12/05/2015 01:05 PM
Bear Valley, CA.... Hey Good People!!!! 5" of new snowfall overnight in the last 48hrs! Today will be a stellar bluebird day with winds coming out of the SSW from 5-8mph. The recent snow added some flavor to the mountain and we'll be opening a bit more terrain today with the addition of the Super Cub Lift and The Panda Carpet. Sunday looks like a small disturbance in the force with a shot of snow expected in the evening but totals are in the 1" or less range for that system but we will see an increase in winds on the front of this system. The return of yet another pulse of weather and that one looks to stay around for a few days at this time. Totals for that system will be forthcoming on Monday. As we move deeper into December the El Nino effect will start to take even more shape so get ready people...

Bear Valley Receives 5 Inches Of New Snow As They Gear Up For Another Great Weekend! Mattly's Weather For Dec 4th 2015
Posted by: thepinetree on 12/04/2015 09:23 AM
Bear Valley, CA...5" of new snowfall overnight! The current system is making it's way East as I write. As quick as it came in it left and today should see lingering snowfall showers and partly cloudy skies. Today will cooler as the high should park itself right around 30F or so. Winds will continue in the SSW pattern this morning then shift to the ENE as the system pushes into Nevada and Utah. Sunday looks to be another wintery dauy with a few inches of snowfall expected mainly North of I-80 but you never know this early in the season. And yet another system is slated to move over the area Wednesday but that system looks a bit warmer currently so we'll wait on that one. As we move deeper into December the El Nino effect will start to take even more shape so get ready people...
