Bear Valley, CA...The local snowmobile community has pitched in to clean up the snow play areas of debris, garbage and waste left behind. We thank you for visiting our area to play and recreate but please clean up after yourselves. Even during a government shutdown locals will keep our area clean but they do wish they could be out riding instead of donning their unpaid clean up crew hats.

Bear Valley, CA...Tickets are already sold out for the Live Music & Party that starts at 7pm but for those on the outside not to worry there is bonfires and fireworks at midnight to ring in 2019 at 7,000 ft. Fireworks above the snow covered Bear Valley Village is something not to be missed. Below are photos sent to us by Neil Hunt of the 2016 Show. They don snowshoes and trek to the top of Bloods Ridge and enjoy the fireworks with the snow and mountains as the backdrop. We would like to thank Neil for sharing a few photos with us in the past. Happy New Year Everyone!! May 2019 be a great one...
From the Hunt's..."On one special night each year, we get together to celebrate friends, family and those that we hold most dear. Join us to raise a glass, dance the night away and ring in the New Year at Bear Valley’s annual New Year’s Eve Party."

Bear Valley, CA...Hey Good People! As we move into Sunday we’ll see a repeat of yesterday less the breezy conditions. 43F will be the high with NNW winds up to 7mph. Tonight winds will increase again as the upper level cold front coming out of Alaska will again bring chilly temps come New Years Day. By Wednesday afternoon some warming will occur and high pressure will be in effect into next weekend. There is still a disturbance in the force come the 6th or 7th so let’s keep our fingers crossed and do some snow dances because the January storm door looks to crack open around that time. Grab your Family and Friends and head on up to Bear Valley for some great times as we have the best conditions we’ve seen in some time. Hwy 4 is the easiest access to any resort on the Western Slope! As always we’re about “Pure Mtn Fun”.

Bear Valley, CA...Hey Good People! Saturday is here and the fun continues! A high of 42F will be on tap for the day with winds again out of the ENE from 10-16mph with gusts up to the mid 20’s. Winds should relax a bit today compared to yesterday as the surface gradients loosen up. Dry weather is slated for the next few days before the next short wave heads South out of Alaska bringing breezy conditions again on New Years Eve but that systems looks to be headed to the Eastern side of the Sierra at this time. Either way some cooler temps will follow and a shift in the pattern still looks good for the Jan. 6-10 time frame. Grab your Family and Friends and head on up to Bear Valley for some great times as we have the best conditions we’ve seen in some time. Hwy 4 is the easiest access to any resort on the Western Slope!
