Jamestown, CA...Multiple crews are responding to a reported vegetation fire at 17925 Seco Street in Jamestown. Update 9:40pm: 1/4 acre of grass. Slow rate of spread. Update 9:48pm: Crews are being canceled. Update 10:21pm: Cause is a firework per crews om site. CAL Fire report enclosed....

School Bus Mechanical Failure Causes Vegetation Fire on Monday Afternoon

Mokelumne Hill, CA...On Monday afternoon multiple fire personnel responded to what was thought to be a school bus on fire. After crews arrived on scene, CAL Fire states that a Calaveras USD school bus was having mechanical failure and it caused a 3 1/4 acre vegetation fire only at Hwy 26 and Robinson Ranch. 40 students were evacuated safely by the school bus driver. Standard, CA....A 1/4 acre spot of vegetation was burned when a power line failed at the SPI plant located at the 14800 Block of Camage Road yesterday afternoon. Damages were reported at $50. CAL Fire report is enclosed...

Cold Springs Home a Total Loss. $200k Damage to Home

Cold Springs, CA...The call came into dispatch at 4:47am this morning of a fully involved cabin in the 29,000 block of Shasta Drive in Cold Springs. 10 Units from as far away as Groveland worked the fire that destroyed the residents and caused $50,000 dollars in damage to the contents as well as the $200k loss of the structure. The home was unoccupied at the time. We would like to thank Lt. Robert Anzar Tuolumne County Fire Dept. for sending in these and several photos for recent fires...The official release is enclosed..

Fire Update...Crews Just Finished Up Work on 18 Acre Fire. Updates with Photos

Don Pedro, CA...We just checked in with Mike from the TCU Command Center in San Andreas and he told that crews have just called an 18 acre fire that started just before 3pm today controlled. Units from multiple agencies did a full wildland response to the fire off of Merced Falls Road....

Copperopolois, CA....A 1 acre vegetation fire with a moderate rate of spread has been reported at Hwy 4 near Vista Point. CalFire and local agencies are responding. Update 1am: Contained at 1 acre. Update as of 7:19am this morning...Just checked in with the TCU Command Center in San Andreas and there were three additional small fires overnight as well. Please keep an eye out for any suspicious fire related activities...

Chines Camp, CA....A structure fire occurred on Sunday, September 19, 2010, at 9000 Main Street in Chinese Camp. The cause of the fire is undetermined. There were no injuries. Approximately $10,000 in damages occurred. CAL Fire report enclosed....

Fire Update...Crews Working Fire in Mi Wuk Area...10:07am Forward Progress Stopped...Releasing Some Aircraft

Mi Wuk, CA...Crews are working a several acre vegetation fire in the Mi Wuk area. They are still calling in additional water tenders at this time. No structures are threatened at this time. More to to follow...Update as of 8:15am on what is being called the Shilo Incident. The fire is 5-6 acres; units from multiple agencies and aircraft out of Columbia and also from the Forest Service are on scene. Additional units are inbound and there are also several "Move Up And Cover" orders to reposition engines to maintain coverage in other areas. 8:45am Update...Hard work by the crews on the ground and retardant drops by the tankers are keeping the fire from gaining in size. It is still holding in the 5-6 acre range with no structures threatened... Update as of 9:10am from Lisa Williams at CAL-FIRE...Some of the acreage estimates are coming in at under the 5 acre range down in the 2 acre range. Update as of 10:07am..They are reporting that forward progress has stopped and they are releasing some of the aircraft. Update as of 11:19am...Fire entering mop up phase. Fire GPS'ed at 3.3acres. Great job everyone....
