FIRE NEWS......Reported Vegetation Fire at Calaveritas Road in San Andreas.....UPDATED WITH CAL FIRE REPORT

San Andreas, CA....Multiple crews are responding to a reported vegetation fire at Calaveritas Road and Mountain Ranch Road. Updates to come. 7:48pm, Additional water tenders have been called in. Update 7:57pm, just spoke with Peggy Sue of CAL Fire, no updates as of yet. More to come. Update 8:02pm, estimated acreage at 5-10 acres of grass according to crews on scene. Still having access issues. Access is near Willow Creek. Update 8:16pm, Fire is 50% contained. Sounds like crews are making good progress.

Vegetation Fire Reported in Lime Kiln are of Sonora

Sonora, CA...If you see trucks rolling...crews from multiple agencies are responding to a reported vegetation fire in the Lime Kiln area south of Sonora. More to follow...(Crews did find a small fire and they are working on accessing it...(Update as of 8:07pm...they have the fires knocked down but it appears that there may have been more than one and they are requesting that the Tuolumne County Sheriff's Office assist them...(Update as of 8:48pm...Just spoke with Laura at TCU Command Center and the fire was at a homeless camp and apparently there was even a couch and furniture on fire....

Investigators State Copperopolis Morado Circle Fires Cause is Electrical

Copperopolis, CA...We have just heard from Sargent Dave Seawell of Calaveras Sheriffs Office regarding the Morado Circle Fires that occurred last week in Copperopolis. Here is what he stated "Investigators have determined the cause of the fire to be electrical. Arson has been ruled out. I have no further details at this time."

Big Meadow Fire Update as of 9am This Morning.....55% Contained and at 4,909 Acres

Yosemite, CA...The Big Meadow Fire was a 90 acre prescribed fire that crossed containment lines and is now aggressively being suppressed. A Type 1 Incident Management Team (McGowen) has been assigned to manage this fire.....

Sheep Ranch, CA...Units form multiple agencies and all aircraft out of Columbia are responding to a 1/4 acre grass fire about 2 miles up from the Rite of Passage School. More to follow... (Update as of 10:06am... they are canceling the remaining inbound units as the units on hand will be able to take care of the fire.)
