This Week at the Arnold CHS Thrift Store Cat Adoption Center – CALLI!

Arnold, CA...Stop by Calaveras Humane Society's Thrift Store Cat Adoption Center in Arnold, located in Meadowmont Center next to Big Trees Market, open Thurs. through Sat., 10 am–5 pm (Phone 209-795-GIVE). Calli will be there to meet you, along with other lovable kitties! We will also have kitties available at our Angels Camp Adoption Center, located in Angels Town Center (240 S. Main St./Hwy 49), open Thurs. through Sat., 11 am–5 pm. Come in and meet some wonderful kitty companions!

Frogtown, USA...During the 2014 CCPRA Rodeo the Calaveras County Fair had an Outhouse race against the Amador County Fair. The Calaveras County Fair was victorious. So this year, we are opening the competition up to other organizations and businesses. In addition to bragging rights, there is prize money, 1st pays $300, 2nd $200 and 3rd pays$100. (Note: business entries will be required to donate their prize to a charity of their choice) For entry forms and more information visit frogtown.org.

Bear Valley, CA... Hey Good People! Today will be a stellar sunny day with a high near 57. Light and variable winds becoming west 5 to 8 mph in the morning. The High pressure ridge takes a break today and breaks down slightly and brings with it the next system to move into NorCal on Friday. Tight pressure gradients will bring breezy conditions Friday and into Saturday as a weak weather system moves in over NorCal. A very slight chance of snow on Saturday then back to a high pressure return and clear/warm weather into next week. Bring the family and friends up for some "Pure Mtn Fun" as it's a great time to take advantage of some of the deals we have going on.
