Copperopolis, CA...Copperopolis Town Square, the shopping, events and entertainment center in Calaveras County will host their Annual “Spring Festival & Eggapalooza” on Saturday, April 15th from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The day’s activities include Easter egg hunts for kids from age 1 to 10 from 11 am to 12 pm and photo opportunities with the Easter Bunny from 12 to 2 pm. There will be plenty of games and contests for kids and free Easter goodies! There will also be plenty of delicious bites, shopping specials and fun for the entire family. Mountain Ranch, CA...Walking into the visitor's center at California Cavern, State Historic Landmark, you are greeted by a prehistoric cave bear skeleton, minerals of many shapes and sizes, friendly employees and a sign that reads, " Do not lick the walls". "We don't like cave wall licking." said Derek Pierce, manager of California Cavern, located southeast of Sacramento, California. "California Cavern is known for it's amazing formations, an underground lake and rich gold rush history dating back to the early 1800s, but cave wall licking has no part of it." Pierce said firmly.

Bear Valley Introduces 2017 Spring Season Pass and 2017-18 Season Passes

Bear Valley, CA...Bear Valley has announced a new 2017 spring season pass as well as its 2017/18 season pass. Both passes come with a variety of mountain perks and discounts including discounts on lessons, buddy passes, retail, food and beverage. The 2017 spring season pass provides unlimited lift access for the rest of the 2016/17 season which runs through April 23, and costs less than the price of two adult tickets. The pass offers the same perks as a full season pass including a 10 percent off retail, 13+ group lessons, food items and discounted buddy tickets, and can be traded-in for a 2017/18 pass if upgraded by April 30. The cost for an adult spring pass is $139 (ages 23+) and youth Spring pass is $99 (ages under 22).

Angels Camp, CA...We will be closing the shop on Thursday, March 30 and re-opening on Friday, April 7 for our closing sale. After much thought and with the full support of her family, Ginger will take this opportunity to visit her kids in Washington, Oregon, California & Idaho , her sister in Fresno and when she is home in Angels Camp she would love to continue teaching her love of all things quilting & sewing. The sudden & unexpected loss of Chuck has been devastating & she feels the only way to make any sense out of his loss will be to honor their dream of retirement & travel. With 6 kids, 13 grandchildren, 1 great-grandson and many friends to visit, she will have the freedom for extended visits & she will be pampered!
