Murphys, CA...Competitive runners, and people who just enjoy a stroll in the verdant countryside, are invited to take part in the 7th annual Off the Beaten Path on Saturday, April 28 in Murphys Community Park. The money raised will go to support Mind Matters, the Murphys based non-profit clinic that treats autism and other learning disorders. The multi-faceted event will feature a 10k run, open to men and women of all ages, that will take participants down Six Mile Road, past Ironstone Vineyards, and back. Medallions will be awarded to first, second and third place winners. Participants who would rather walk and chat than run are encouraged to do so. The 5k course will be to Ironstone and back. Families are welcome to bring their tricycles, bicycles, strollers, etc. and join the fun.

Bear Valley, CA...Hey Good People! What a beautiful day ahead with a high of 51F and NE winds from 8-14mph. Continued high pressure ridging will dominate the West coast for another week. Things look to warm up a few degrees more as Easter approaches and next Tuesday looks to be the peak temp with a possible 55F! Arnold, CA...As the snow melts and the bulbs peak through the ground, we're looking forward to a lovely spring day for Easter. Our brunch is in "wait-list" status, and the egg hunt will be a "go", at 1:30 Sunday, for children ages 3 to 10. BYOBasket! (remember, no bar food or dinner served on Easter Sunday)

Ageless – A Prescription for Healthy Aging by Robert Pokorski, MD will be held on Tuesday, April 3rd, 12 noon at MTMCF, 768 Mountain Ranch Road, San Andreas.
