Mokelumne Hill, CA...Gary L. Stevens for Sheriff Meet and Greet scheduled for April 9th, 5:30pm-7:00pm. Located at the Town Hall in Mokelumne Hill. Gary cares about our community, our schools, and our Sheriff’s Office. Gary Stevens has lived in Calaveras County for more than 28 years. His family lives here. He has raised his children here and one still attends school here. Gary's close friends live here. Gary is the only candidate who has worked for the Calaveras County Sheriff's Office and outside of Calaveras County, and for 5 different Sheriffs! His expertise and experience have given him the insight as to how to provide services to the community.

Martell, CA...The UCCE Master Gardeners of Amador County will be holding a plant sale on Sunday, April 29, from 10:00 a.m. - 2 p.m at the American Legion Hall located at 12134 Airport Rd in Martell. Start your spring gardening off right by picking up your favorite tomato or other vegetable varieties which have been propagated and cared for by Master Gardeners. Not sure what to plant? Master Gardeners can make suggestions and recommendations based on what has grown well for them in the area.

She has lived in District 3 for 30 years, and is a member of local organizations from White Pines Park to Murphys Community Club. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science and Secondary Teaching Credential from the University of San Francisco. Her daughter, Brianna, is a graduate of Avery Middle School and Bret Harte High School.
