Copperopolis, CA...Copperopolis Town Square is rapidly coming to fruition with the opening of a wide array of businesses including specialty retail shops, professional services and eateries. Additional business are scheduled to open during a ribbon cutting ceremony on May 3, and a full slate of openings are scheduled for June, July and August (please see list below). Architecturally, Copperopolis Town Square is blossoming into “country town” and creating a sense of place for residents and visitors of the Copper Valley.....

Angels Camp, CA....The 23rd Annual Calaveras County Science Fair went on this weekend at the Calaveras County Board of Education Office. Students who entered their project participated in interviews for the judging of their experiment. Projects were judged in two categories, experiments and displays. The Calaveras County School Science Fair provides opportunities for all students in grades 4-12 to explore areas of interest and then creatively exhibit them......

Calaveras County, CA....It was a big night for the Calaveras Visitors Bureau when they recently participated in the California Travel and Tourism Commission’s (CTTC) San Francisco Media Event held at the Ritz Carlton. The CVB came away with some great contacts as well as some recognition that Calaveras County can be proud of.....
