The Interfaith Community of Choirs invites everyone to this year’s Eleventh Annual Festival of Carols, a choral and symphonic band concert benefiting the Interfaith Food Bank of Amador County. This year's concerts are again scheduled the weekend before Thanksgiving, Friday, Nov. 19th at 7 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 20 at 3:00 p.m., with a silent auction at 2:00 p.m., at the Church of the Nazarene 14050 Ridge Road in Sutter Creek. The continued generous support of our local business owners and community members .....

San Andreas, CA...Some of our local school children and churches are really going all out to help our local charitable organizations fulfill their mission during these tough economic times. Members of the Christian Family Learning Center Student Council spent part of their Friday filling food bags and seeing how our local Resource Connection Food Bank functions. They also brought with them thousands of paper grocery bags and egg cartons that they can use. Food Bank Director said that each bag they have to purchase is a significant cost to them so if you can save your paper grocery bags it really helps them stretch their food dollars. Foothill Community Church also made a $2,000 donation and Sarah Wilson presented the check during their visit...

Watch a demonstration from “the pumpkin man.” Hot dogs, chili and dessert will be served for lunch. Angels Camp, CA..REFUGE Church has expanded into the old Nazarene Church location on Murphys Grade Road. Last week they held a kick off concert for their new youth programs that the church will be holding on Wednesday nights..
