Posted by: Kim_Hamilton on 11/18/2009 10:47 PM
Valley Springs, CA.... On Saturday, November 14th, the Covenant Women Ministry Fellowship held its Holiday Boutique at Good Samaritan Church in Valley Springs. In part, the Fellowship hopes to raise money by way of booth rentals and the donation of raffle items, but the boutique also presents a way for the Church and Women’s Group to provide outreach to the .....

They will be using the money that they have raised from past boutiques to purchase school supplies to go with new backpacks that people from the the church bought to give away to start the school year off with. Posted by: thepinetree on 08/09/2009 09:03 PM
St. Patricks Catholic Church would like to welcome two new Priests to the area. Father Rolly came to us from the Philippines. He spent five years in Saipan and nine here in the continental U.S., his first church in our Deanery was St. Stanislaus in Modesto. Next, Father moved to St. Gertrude in Stockton where he stayed five years. His last tenure before coming to us was in Tracy where Father Francis is currently. Father Rolly loves trees, rivers, cakes, and people and finds the Rectory to be a very nice place.....

"Mrs. Pilate"~by Connie McCamey

Posted by: thepinetree on 08/08/2009 11:00 PM
We have had many requests for a Religion section on ThePineTree.net. So here you go. We would like to give a warm welcome to Connie and Shawn McCamey. Shawn is the Pastor of the new church in Angels Camp, Refuge. Refuge recently expanded and moved to the Glory Hole Center. They meet every Sunday at 10am. All are welcome. This lovely couple have offered to write inspirational columns for our viewers to enjoy.
