Moms In Touch International changes name to Moms in Prayer International |

On January 2, 2012, Moms In Touch International changed the ministry name to Moms in Prayer International. The new name clearly reflects the vision of the ministry, gathering mothers around the world to pray for children and schools. While groups meet to pray in more than 130 countries, the name “Moms In Touch” has been hard to translate, resulting in countries using a variety of other names, including Moms in Prayer. The 27-year-old ministry expects the new name to foster more unity and clarity of purpose....

Angels Camp, CA...Grace Hills Bible Church in Angels Camp will be hosting a Christmas Candlelight Celebration on Friday, December 23rd at 6:30 PM at Bret Harte High School's Multi-Purpose Room. All ages are welcome and encouraged to attend this evening filled with beautiful music, fellowship and an inspiring message of good news for all. An exciting surprise is also in store for the kids! Dessert and coffee will be available following the service....

Murphys, CA...Matt Mazzei, founder of the Rainbow Delegation which supports the LBGTQ community, will be speaking at the First Congregational Church, Murphys (corner of Church and Algiers Sts.) on Sunday, January 15th after worship, about 11:30. Come to the Williams Room, Eastman Education Center(behind the white picket fence), bring a potluck dish to share and hear this young man describe the dynamic growth of the organization started in Fresno in 2010. Rainbow Delegation has distributed 90,000 rainbow wristbands, symbols of support for LGBTQ people to 73 countries....
