Murphys, CA..On December 16th we stopped by Mountain Christian Fellowship and found their sanctuary transformed into a highly efficient and amazing food packaging facility. Their congregation and additional volunteers from the community had come together to package nutritionally complete meals for Kids Against Hunger. In a few hours they had packaged 15,000 meals. Yes...thats not a typo... 15,000 meals. The meals will be shipped to a Pleasanton location that keeps 50,000 meals on hand at all times for needs of not only those hungry overseas but here at home as well. The shelf stable nutritionally complete meals are ready in case of a natural disaster or emergency here at home as well as abroad. Great Job Everyone!!! It was impressive to watch.
