The Angels Camp Post office has put together a display for their office. The display features Pirate Frogs and celebrates the Fair’s theme, “Pirates of the Carrots and Beans." The Home Arts department celebrates these skills handed down from one generation to the next. Becky Thatcher Hall hosts the arts that make a house a home, meals a celebration and a group of individuals a family. ....

Final casting call for all those interested in being in the Calaveras Follies. Cast meeting is scheduled for March 17th, from 5:30pm to 7:30pm at Murphys Suites on Hwy 4 in Murphys. Drop in anytime during those hours. This position requires individuals to lip-sync to a song dressed in costume with the goal of being as funny or entertaining as possible....

The production team for the seventh annual Calaveras Follies announces the sale of general admission tickets beginning on March 7th. The tickets to the locally produced event starring resident performers are $50 each and include reserved seating, a fabulous appetizer buffet and a no host wine and beer bar. The show is scheduled for Saturday, April 16th at Frog Town where doors will open at 6p.m. Proceeds from the evening will benefit Calaveras Youth Mentoring Program, a program to assist youth, 1st thru 12th grades, in .....
