Angels Camp, CA..Utica Park in Historic Downtown Angels Camp played host to the Sixth Annual Murphys Angels Car Show. This is a great show with a large collection of beautiful rods, customs and more. In addition to the beautiful rolling art there were lots of booths and vendors to keep the crowd fed, hydrated and accessorized. We would like to thank Dr. D. Paar for the great shots below of every entrant. Participating car clubs are listed inside. All proceeds from the show will help the Lions Club's Charitable Efforts...

The entire remodel for this move was done by the ladies and a great job they did. San Andreas – Each year illegal and misused fireworks cause serious injuries and damaging wildfires. The California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE) is taking a zero tolerance stand against anyone possessing, transporting or using illegal fireworks. The penalties for possessing, transporting or using illegal fireworks ranges from a misdemeanor up to felony charges plus the cost incurred for fire suppression..

Calaveras Health Department Urges Be Prepared for the Heat |

San Andreas, CA....Temperatures are expected to hit the century mark in the foothills this weekend and through early next week. Dr. Dean Kelaita, County Health Officer, urges residents to prevent heat-related illnesses by being aware of the dangers and taking action. Infants, children and the elderly are at higher risk of heat illness. Other persons at higher risk of heat illness have health conditions such as obesity, fever, dehydration, heart disease, poor circulation, or misuse of drugs or Temperatures are expected to hit the century mark in the foothills this weekend and through early next week.
