New to the Fair this year will be the LET’S PRETEND PIRATE ADVENTURE – a free, interactive children’s show that encourages imagination and builds self-confidence while entertaining audiences of all ages. The young and young at heart can dress up and become Star Performers in “The Cutest Show on Earth!”.....

On Sunday, February 27, 2011, in the United Arab Emirates, Captain Chuck Kimes left this world for a larger playing field. A long-time resident of Lake Tahoe and a 26-year career pilot for American Airlines, Chuck also ran a successful seaplane operation with business partner and dear friend, Ray Wolfe. In his ‘spare’ time, he traveled the world on ski, dive, sail and flying trips, along with piloting his four-person Stinson seaplane.....

New Melones, CA.....A note from Melanie at Glory Hole...."We are gearing up for our seminar weekend. We are going to do it on a smaller scale this year. It will be here at the store (the shopping center we are located in has some empty units), but we will still have vendors and guides, and seminars and great deals. Be sure to mark your calendars- April 16th and 17th! I am helping local high school senior Kyle Spence with his senior project. He is putting together a bass-fishing fundraising tournament, with the proceeds going to the New Melones Take-a-Kid Fishing day. The tournament will be held at Kelsey Bass Ranch, a private pond with awesome fishing. It will be limited to 15 .....
