Angels Camp, CA...The final touches are being put on the new Round Table Pizza restaurant everyone has seen being built next door to Starbucks in Angels Camp. Dave and Sheila Howard, along with their kids Rachel and Jared, have been fixtures in our area for many years. The Howard family have provided a nice family atmosphere, good food, and lots of jobs at the three restaurants they own and operate in Valley Springs, Arnold, and Jackson. Angels Camp is pleased that they've chosen our community to expand their operation....

Historic Downtown Angels Camp, CA....Santa came to the parade, but that was just the beginning of a wonderful night of Christmas celebration hosted by the Angels Camp Business Association. As dusk fell the songs began as a procession of carolers made their way from Vintage Realty to the Visitors' Center and the annual City of Angels Camp Christmas Tree lighting....

December 3, 2011, Angels Camp CA..Historic Downtown on Main St. Just about the entire population of Calaveras County turned out to greet Santa Claus has he made his annual visit to the parade Saturday in Historic Downtown Angels Camp. Kids of all ages enjoyed a beautiful sunny afternoon, all the entertainment, and shopping galore as businesses were decked out for the season, and Santa came to town!

Angels Camp, CA.. A mere three days ago the erstwhile flooring shop in Angels Camp was a dark curiosity that was never open. Yesterday it was all light, glittering Christmas decor, and CHOCOLATE! The Chocolate Lady has been in the business of producing fine hand-made chocolates in their world headquarters in Sutter Creek for many years, but she's always wanted to make her treats available to the general public....

| Calaveras County - The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will close State Route 4 (SR-4) from the west junction of SR-49 to the end of the Angels Camp Bypass on Wednesday, December 7, 2011 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (noon). Crews will work on the utilities in this location. Motorists may detour onto SR-49 and Business Route 4... |
