| Angels Camp, CA...On January 14th, 2012 the Angels Camp PD received information from the Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office that a debit card taken in an auto burglary in San Andreas was used at several locations in Angels Camp. One of the locations where the card was used was the Save Mart grocery store... |

Calaeras County, CA...Girl'sNight Out, sponsored by The Salon in Angels Camp for their annual scholarship fund, will be held Friday, February 10, 2012, 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM, at Ironstone Vineyards. Fun with a cause! Can it get any better than this? For a mere $10 admission fee participants get fun with friends, including wine tasting at the renown winery Ironstone Vineyards, delicious appetizers, and best of all the highly rated local shopping vendors are all at Ironstone for the event! Your admission price of ten dollars is a donation, in-full, for The Salon's Bret Harte High School Scholarship Fund. This scholarship was created by The Salon, in downtown Angels Camp, for deserving students at Bret Harte High School. 2012 will be the fourth year with eleven past scholarships bestowed. Last year, 2011, three students were awarded....

Three Arrested in Burglary Case |

San Andreas, CA....On 1/14/2012 Calaveras Sheriffs Deputies received a report of a vehicle burglary at the fishing access off of Highway 12 west of San Andreas. The vehicle's window was shattered, which enabled the suspects to gain entry. A purse containing credit cards, keys, prescription medications, and other items was stolen. Later that evening Calaveras Sheriff s deputies and Angels Camp Police officers were advised that the credit cards that had been stolen from the vehicle during the burglary were being used at Rite Aid drugstore in Angels Camp. Deputies, along with Angels Camp ....

SAN ANDREAS, CA – Mark Twain St. Joseph’s Hospital (MTSJH) Interim Hospital President Patti Monczewski announced that Dr. Steven Mills, nurse practitioner Carla St. Myers, and Dr. Frederick Osborne have joined the Angels Camp Family Medical Center. “We are delighted to expand our commitment in Angels Camp,” said Monczewski, adding “Angels Camp was home to the first of our five Family Medical Centers.”...
