Angels Camp, CA....Every Friday during the summer months, from 5PM to dusk, The Angels Camp Business Association (ACBA), along with community sponsors including The Pinetree, bring Fresh Fridays to Utica Park. Not just a farmers' market, Fresh Fridays is food, entertainment, recreation, just plain fun, and yes; all kinds of shopping. Arts and crafts, flowers and plants, boutique canned goods and foods from a huge number of local and regional food businesses, prepared foods of all kinds for a light dinner in the park, and yes a huge variety of the finest California produce you'll find anywhere!....
St. Patrick's Church Gives You a Chance to Win a Corvette or $30,000!

St. Patrick's Parish in Angels Camp is having a Corvette Raffle or $30,000. Tickets are $100 and only 800 will be sold. The funds collected are to benefit the parish in many endeavors. A 40" LCD TV, which was donated by Middleton's Appliance and Furniture Store, is an early bird incentive. If a ticket is purchased before July 3rd, not only do you have a chance to win a Corvette or $30,000 you also could win a TV. Tickets can be purchased at the rectory office or call 736-4575.

Bret Harte High School, Angels Camp, CA....Today and early this evening were nearly the last practice sessions for the Santa Clara Vanguard.The Vanguard Drum & Bugle Corps is a world-renowned, world champion drum and bugle corps that travels between six and eight weeks each summer throughout the United States and Canada performing in competitive field shows and parades. The Vanguard provides instruction for the experienced through the advanced member in the areas of brass, percussion and color guard.....

Angels Camp, CA....Chef Ron is conducting tours of the Angels Camp Farmers Market again this Friday evening due to popular demand! Fresh Fridays, Angels Camp Certified Farmers Market began last Friday evening to rave reviews despite the threat of rain. As expected the visitors to the market who did brave the threat of showers were delighted with the abundance of locally grown fresh certified produce and the variety of seasonal fruits, vegetables and nuts. Most visitors to the market commented on how pleased they were to see so many new farms and the addition of more produce .....

Last Saturday, the Angels Gun Club Youth Shooters attended the season's last fun shoot at Sierra Valley Gun Club located near Portola. The Junior Varsity team performed well with Conner Thompson of Angels Camp shooting a 94 out of 100 to achieve 3rd place and Joey Griswold of San Andreas shot a 92 out of 100 to tie for 5th place, both shooting their first 25 straight out of 25. On the Intermediate Advanced team Carson Atkinson of Copperopolis shot 90 out of .....
