Angels Camp, CA...Angels Camp Centennial was 100 years in the making. Saturday's event filled historic downtown for a good part of the day. There were Frog Jumps, Proclamations from Senator Ted Gaines, Tom Tryon and Calaveras County, Mayor Elaine Morris and Angels Camp. Frog Jump Winner Laura Kitchell's Plaque for the Frog Walk of Fame and much more. There was even a "Flash Mob" that was a "Thriller" We spoke with ACBA's Tey Cross and plans are already underway to make this an annual "Founders Day Event". It was a great event and Historic Downtown never looked better! We have video clips from the event enclosed. There are quite a few so it may take a few seconds for the page to load.
