But some home making arts are making a come back. Baking and canning are more popular today than they have been in several decades. Some believe this new found popularity is due to “Foodies. A Foodie (sometimes spelled foody) is an informal term for a particular class of aficionado of food and drink. People all across America have fallen in love with food again. At the same time people want to know where their food comes from. Urban gardens are popping up in the most unusual places, tops of buildings, city parks and other creative places. San Andreas, CA...A new six-week workshop series to teach residents with chronic diseases like high blood pressure, high cholesterol or diabetes skills to better manager their conditions is starting April 18 in Angels Camp.
