Angels Camp, CA...We had the pleasure to spend about 30 minutes with Supervisor District 4 Candidate and current Angels Camp City Councilman, Lee Seaton. Mr. Seaton has served on the Angels Camp City Council for 6 years and would like to apply his experience to county. Lee spent many of his professional years with Hewlett Packard before retiring in 2000. Mr. Seaton believes strongly that while we plan for the future we need to protect our historic rural heritage. Angels Camp, CA….Students from Avery Middle School and Mark Twain Elementary, along with their families attended the annual eighth grade family night at Bret Harte High School. As families arrived parents were able to schedule registration appointments for their incoming freshman. Students also received a high school packet filled with helpful information that will help guide them through high school smoothly…..

Angels Camp, CA....We had the pleasure of "Live" streaming todays City of Angels Presentation on Retail Economic Development which started at 3pm and went until about 5pm....The Replay will be up later in case you missed it....On Tuesday, April 8, 2008 the City of Angels will host a presentation on Retail Economic Development. Amy Wetzel with the Buxton Company will discuss various economic development strategies, ranging from small retailers to more traditional approaches with national chains. The presentation will be held at the Angels Firehouse (1404 E. Highway 4) at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday April 8th. Refreshments will be served. Members of the public are encouraged to attend. Angels Camp, CA....CAL Fire reported another escaped debris burn on Tuesday April 1st at 3326 Meacham Road in Angels Camp. The fire spread to a 20' x 20' vegetation spot. No injuries. Report is enclosed.....

Carol Hogan and Ed McJunkin hosted an innovative approach to introducing friends and neighbors to Lee Seaton, candidate for the Calaveras Board of Supervisors representing the Fourth District. Instead of the traditional coffee klatch, Hogan and McJunkin served home-made Italian sausage soup to their guests Monday night, March 31, 2008......
