Angels Camp, CA...Calaveras Lumber of Angels Camp is hosting a "Friends of Ingrid Lundgren" Spring Gala Fundraiser, this Saturday April 19th from 10am~3pm at the Lumber Yard. This will be a Family Fun Day with activities for everyone. Dunk Mike Fulloway, Owner of Calaveras Lumber, Mechanical Bull Riding, BBQ, Kids Bouncy Castle, Silent Auction and Raffle Prizes. Ingrid Lundgren has been fighting colon cancer for the last 4 years. She has recently been hospitalized due to complications and is now back in the hospital again with double pneumonia. Ingrid has worked in the lumber and retail hardware business in Tuolumne and Calaveras County for over 20 years.....

Angels Camp, CA....This year the Chamber of Commerce will be kicking off it's 3rd year of the Painted Frogs of Calaveras community art project. Working together with the Calaveras Art's Council, local artists and local business sponsors, the Chamber is excited to once again feature our community art with an anmphibian twist. Fifteen local businesses and individuals have come forward to sponsor a frog. The frog's this year look more like a traditional gold panning frog. Each sponsor has chosen an artist and is working feverishly to create a design that will thrill and delight local citizens and tourists as it sits on display from Memorial Day until late October. Here are the people that have agreed to sponsor a Painted Frog....


Soon, these Naked Frogs will be clothed for the Public Unveiling!

This session of classes has some of the familiar favorites along with some new and exciting courses designed to bring technology into the classroom as well as the home. As always, if there is a class that isn’t in the catalog and you think it should be, please let us know. Our technology classes are open to the public for adults over the age of 18. Special classes for groups can also be scheduled by request......
