Camp "Sew Fun" Days Announced at Country Cloth |

Angels Camp, CA...Camp Sew Fun is a 3 day summer workshop that introduces boys and girls, ages 8 to 18, to the basic skills of sewing AND at the end of the 3 days they will take home their own Bernette 46 sewing machine! While learning about their machine they will make a tote bag, a skirt or pair of shorts, a small bag with a zipper and another bag with a button & buttonhole. Classes are limited to 4 students to ensure each child gets the attention needed to complete their projects....

Vallecito, CA...Mr. Garrett was traveling eastbound on Hwy 4 east of Parrott's Ferry Road just before 2pm. It is under investigation why he allowed his 2008 Prius to drift to the left and cross into the westbound lane. This allowed his vehicle to collide head on with a 2001 Dodge pickup of a Walnut Creek couple...

The District Essay winners, their heroes, and their families will attend the event, which is a annual tradition as the City council welcomes them and the community. Angels Camp, CA...In honor of Presidents Day three local firefighters took the opportunity to look the Patriotic part. They found their Red, White & Blue suspenders on sale and they all decided they needed a pair. The even wore them to Family 4 Fitness Monday as they worked out to make sure they were strong enough to take care of any damsels in distress that might need some emergency assistance.

Angels Camp, CA...Just north of Angels Camp on Hwy 49 one business has been providing feed and ranch supplies since a peanut farmer from Georgia was in the White House. They threw a thank you party for their customers to celebrate on Saturday....

A winter storm warning has been issued for Tuesday and Wednesday and is enclosed below the 7-Day forecast. Washington's Birthday Mostly sunny, with a high near 45. Light and variable wind becoming south southwest 11 to 16 mph in the morning. Winds could gust as high as 24 mph. Tonight Snow, mainly after 4am. Low around 21. South wind 8 to 13 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible. Tuesday Snow showers. High near 28. South southwest wind around 17 mph, with gusts as high as 29 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 4 to 8 inches possible. Tuesday Night Snow showers, mainly before 10pm. Low around 12. Southwest wind 5 to 9 mph becoming calm in the evening. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible....
