Frogtown, CA...Saturday December 7th, 2013 9am-5:30pm. Calaveras Fairgrounds Mark Twain Building. Join us with for crafts, baked goods and Vendor items at this joyful event! All proceeds will be donated directly to Mark Twain's 6th. grade Science Camp Trip. There will also be silent auction and raffle items. We heard Santa just may make a visit to our little town that day! Crafts for kids, Food, and fun to be had by all!...

Angels Camp, CA...Angels Camp’s 2013 Christmas celebrations filled historic downtown Angels Camp on Saturday. The 23rd annual Christmas Parade and the Christmas Open House brought a festive air to Main Street. Bob and Marlene Bach were the Grand Marshals. Bob Bach was the Superintendent of Schools for many years and has been integrally involved in education in the area for decades. Santa Claus on an Angels Camp fire truck finished up the parade but there were lots of great floats and entrants including the Greenhorn Creek Kazoo group, great family floats, youth groups and of course Miss Calaveras, Junior Miss Calaveras and the Saddle Queen to bring a bit of beauty to the event...

Angels Camp, CA....Five beautiful Angels Camp Homes will be decorated for the Christmas Season and open for tour on Saturday, December 7th from noon to 4pm. Refreshments will be available at each home and all proceeds will benefit the Angels Camp Library. The tour includes 3 homes in Greenhorn Creek and 2 home on White Oak Ranch Rd off of Whittle Rd on the way to New Melones Lake. Tickets are $25 per person and are available for purchase at the Angels Camp Library, Calaveras Lumber and the Calaveras Visitors Center in Angels Camp. Call 736-6723 for more information...
