Angels Camp, CA...April 26, 1942-December 14, 2012...Stan was born in Oakland, CA. At an early age his family moved to Stockton where he spent his childhood, graduating from Stagg High School in 1960. Soon after graduation he joined the Army, and served in the Reserves. He graduated from U.O.P. in 1969 with a bachelor's degree in History. In 1973 he moved to Angels Camp, CA, where he resided for the rest of his life. He taught at Vallecito High School for 23 years and at Bret Harte High School for one year before retiring in 1997. Stan's passion for photography, history, politics, and music motivated him to travel to many interesting places with both ....

Angels Camp, CA...The Friends of the Fair will meet this Wednesday, December 29th at CAMPS. The meeting will begin at 6pm. "You may notice that we will be electing officers for the coming term that ends on December 31, 2014. We will also be electing board members. I've reviewed the By-Laws and the minutes of the past four years. According to my research, the terms of Jeff Johnson and Rob Miller will expire at the end of this month. The terms of board members is four years." states Leslie Davis, Secretary. Full agenda is enclosed...

Bear Valley, CA... Tonight Snow showers. Low around 17. Southwest wind 7 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 23 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. Total nighttime snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible. Tuesday Snow showers, mainly before 4pm. Temperature rising to near 19 by noon, then falling to around 14 during the remainder of the day. Calm wind becoming west northwest 5 to 7 mph in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible. Tuesday Night A 20 percent chance of snow showers before 10pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 6. East northeast wind around 10 mph....

Angels Camp, CA...Studio 4 Dance Theater presents a full length, professional quality production of "The Nutcracker" again this holiday season at Bret Harte Theater in Angels Camp. Thursday December 13, 2012 @ 6pm, Friday December 14, 2012 @ 6 pm. Saturday December 15, 2012 @ 1pm and 6pm. We stopped by the dress rehersal last night and the attendees are in for a treat.
