Sonora, California...Golden State Cellular announces the addition of 6 new employees - Juliann Anderson, Stacey James, Christina Legg, Roberta Morse, Andrew Plitt and Jessica Throssel. The new hires will be added to our sales department team located in Amador, Calaveras and Tuolumne Counties. Since the first of the year Golden State Cellular have added a total of 11 new employees to staff their growing operation and are currently interviewing for vacancies in their engineering and outside sales departments...

On Monday, May 12th, 2008, Mr. Ortega will host the next Angels Camp Business Association Meeting at the Utica Hotel on Historic Main Street. Social Hour begins at 5:30pm, Program at 6pm. Angels Camp, CA...Last night, in a full Greenhorn Creek Dining Room, the Angels Camp Business Association studied the benefits that "Branding" and consistent signage can have on the economic vitality of a community. Anne Forrest led the presentation of a report developed by Roger Brooks from Destination Development. This talk was what is becoming a series of discussions on what towns like Angels Camp can do to refine their image and enhance business revenue in their core downtown sectors and elsewhere as well....

Angels Camp, CA...Local Businessman, Frank Robinson wants to save you money by helping your vehicle run on Hydrogen as well as your normal fuel. Frank a retired contractor has started H2O-TO-GO. He manufactures and sells kits that make HHO gas or Brown's Gas right here in Calaveras County. This process uses electrical current to release hydrogen from water and has been around since the mid-1960's. We also spoke with Ray Brower from Brower Tranzpro in Stockton who is now installing over 20 of these kits a month and some of the results his customers have reported is impressive. This is not a new snake oil scheme but seems to be a legitimate way to significantly reduce fuel consumption and cut emissions...
