| "Re: Ballard vs. Kuntz debate. In response to numerous requests from citizens of Calaveras County, I take full responsibility for organizing the upcoming debate event on April 30, 2010 at 7:00 pm at the Angels Murphys Lions Hall in Murphys. I also asked Judge Mewhinney to moderate it and he accepted. Gary Kuntz was invited by e-mail and also a message to him on Face book. As of the writing of this letter, no response has been received either accepting or declining the invitation. The only communication saying he was not coming was verbal to a third party stating he is unavailable until June 8 and would not be open to a debate with Ed Ballard. This is not factual enough for me to cancel the event.... |

Angels Camp, CA...Our live coverage of the Relay for life will start right after the opening ceremonies & survivors laps. We can get better video if we are actually on the field instead of the booth. We will also be posting the Opening & Closing Ceremonies in separate video. Stop by the Bret Harte Field and Donate to a Great Cause!!...

The Photo Above is From This Morning's Opening Ceremony. Update as of 2:31pm. We have moved the feed to a close up of those walking on the track. We had a viewer that wanted to be able to see who was walking. With this view the track may be empty for a few seconds until the next group walks in-front of the camera. |

The Celebrated Frogs of Calaveras County launch their annual promotional tour this weekend. Every year the amphibians hit the road to build excitement for the Calaveras County Fair and Jumping Frog Jubilee. This year’s event is May 13-16 at Frogtown in Angels Camp. Accompanying the frogs on their promotional tour are the Calaveras Frog Wranglers, a group of volunteers dedicated to the history and community pride reflected in the 82-year-old Jumping Frog Jubilee....

Angels Camp, CA...We had the chance to catch up with Angels Theatre's Jeff Olson on what is now playing and what is on the way soon. The Summer Blockbuster season is underway what better place to take in the latest than Angels Theatre. We give a 4 Thumbs up for "Back Up Plan" with Jennifer Lopez, and Clash of the Titans! The kids loved the action packed "Losers". "Kick Booty"is supposed to very intense but quite good. The theater is now offering "Big D" 3D so be sure to check it out! . The newest Reel Talk is enclosed..

The State Relaase on the program follows..."SACRAMENTO - California consumers will soon be able to trade in their old refrigerators, clothes washing machines, and room air conditioners for new energy efficient models as they cash in on $35.2 million of federal stimulus rebates starting in April. The California Cash for Appliances rebate program will offer cash incentives to consumers to improve California's long-term energy efficiency goals....
